Enter the “domain name” and “domain location”.

We used

domain name: base_domain

domain location: c:\bea\user_projects\domains

Click “create” to create the domain.

Click “done” once the domain creation is complete.

6.2 Packaging the BEA domain environment

Packing and unpacking can be used to quickly create domain directory structures from the admin server

(BEAVM1) on managed servers (BEAVM2 & BEAVM3) that would be part of this domain.

Run the following command before packaging. Under <BEA HOME>/Weblogic92/server/bin, run

WLSEnv.cmd to initialize the Windows shell’s environment.
